With an expansive inventory of raw material, Scot Forge can begin processing your order the moment you call. We stock a wide variety of materials ranging from 4" billet to ingots exceeding 69" in diameter. Materials include carbon, alloy, stainless, tool steel, copper, nickel, titanium, aluminum, and other ferrous and non-ferrous grades. 100% of incoming material is verified for proper alloy using an optical emission spectrometer.

As the nation's largest purchaser of bottom poured ingots, Scot Forge works with melt shops supplying the strongest, cleanest materials available in the world. The diverse capabilities of these shops allow us to offer custom-melt materials uniquely suited to your application. In addition, VAR and ESR capabilities are readily available.

Specialty Alloy Services
 Our Specialty Alloy Services technical staff specializes in assisting customers with the selection and use of specialty materials for applications requiring high strength, corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and high conductivity. These materials include the super austenitic and super duplex stainlesses along with copper, aluminum, titaniumn and nickel alloys. Additionally, Scot Forge is licensed to forge Ferralium® Alloys 255 and SD40, Hiduron® 191, and 254 SMO®.

SCOT FORGE carries an extensive inventory of ferrous and non-ferrous raw material. With over 30 million pounds and literally hundreds of grades in stock, we can process most orders immediately. While the material grades listed below are the more commonly quoted, don't hesitate to call us for any other specification or custom melt. Dozens of other material modifications are stocked, and our multi-source custom capabilities allow us to order material to virtually any specification (in minimum heat lots).
