Forging

Forging The open die and rolled ring forging process involves the shaping of heated metal parts through the use of hammers, presses or ring mills. With our traditional steam hammers, state-of-the-art hydraulic presses, and powerful ring mills, Scot Forge produces a virtually unlimited variety of high quality open die and rolled ring forgings. We can accommodate part weights from 5 lbs. to 80,000 lbs. in a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

To learn more about the various equipment used in open die and rolled ring forging, see the following links.
